The Japan Society for Science Policy and Research Management is an academic conference that is considered as the purpose of improvement in technical management, drafting and promoting technology related policy, and planning of exchange of research and information from whole field of science technology that is related to management and policy.
The annul meeting that is held in autumn every year, every member of Watanabe Laboratory present their research. By showing their research to the external in this annual meeting and also getting opinion from wide range, makes it possible to develop more on their research.

The Japan Society for Science Policy and Research Management: prepare the section meeting about the fields that members have high interest in, and also the party of exchanging the information on their research is held.
The section meeting of national problem which chief examinar is professor Watanabe, invites the instructors from internal and external, and debate on the guidance of Japan’s science technology in the stiuation of globalizing environment of science technology. (1 per month in evening of weedays from 18:00 to 20:00)

International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (：IIASA) which technology consultant is professor Watanabe, is at Vienna and holds IIASA - Titech Technical Meeting annually. Experts of IIASA from all over ther world come together and highly leveled debates are held.

We regularly exchange information with United Nations University Institute of Advanced Studies (UNU/IAS) which professor Watanabe is the guest professor, and holds Joint ? Workshop together to maximize the utilization of the resource that each has.
